Petals & Posies was founded in April 2025, in Kingston Nova Scotia by Jessica Duhamel.

Alongside running Petals & Posies, Jessica is the creative heart behind the studio. With a career dedicated to supporting people and a passion for design, she blends professionalism and artistry in a way that ensures every customer feels cared for and every arrangement feels special.

Jess believes flowers are storytellers. They have a way of making life’s moments-whether it’s celebrating love, offering comfort, or simply bringing beauty into an ordinary day. Each arrangement is designed with care, a touch of whimsy, and a focus on detail that makes every bouquet feel truly special.

Petals & Posies is where modern, artful floristry meets heartfelt service. From everyday gestures to weddings, and milestone events, Jess is proud to design blooms that are fresh, intentional, and unforgettable.

In addition to the floral collection, Petals & Posies has launched The Gift Shop, including a variety of high quality local gifts, and all products are from Canadian brands. Jess personally curates each item she chooses for the shop to ensure it aligns with the Petals & Posies brand. Customers have the option to purchase the gift wrap add-on, which means your beautiful gift is personally wrapped by Jess, adding a extra special, premium finishing touch - from happy hands to happy hearts.

When you order from Petals & Posies, you’re supporting more than just a local business-you’re choosing a designer who blends skill, creativity, and heart into every project. When Jess isn’t in the flower shop she is spending time with her husband Duncan and their dog Harry.

At Petals & Posies, our mission is to create artful, modern florals with a touch of whimsy-designed to celebrate life’s moments and bring beauty, joy, and connection to our community while supporting and celebrating local, Canada owned business’s.
